Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to build alignment and deliver the technical vision and architecture.
• Manage development of multiple solutions and systems, adhering to Chubb’s global architectural standards and system development frameworks (agile and waterfall). Be hands-on and relentless on delivering high quality software to achieve the business outcomes.
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends that are pertinent to the assigned area of responsibility.
• Develop and promote common tooling or best practices specific to the assigned domain for product / platform teams to utilize.
• Drive the adoption of modern engineering practices such as Agile, DevOps, and cloud-native development.
• Conduct hands-on proofs of concept to validate new solutions and document findings.
• As a key member of the APAC Technology Leadership team, build, lead and motivate a diverse and dynamic Chubb engineering team.
• Mentor and develop engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.

Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in building and leading Software Engineering teams and functions.
• Hands-on, proven experience in software engineering, designing, building, testing, and deploying Internet and Enterprise-scale systems.
• Hands-on, proven experience with Agile operating models and methodologies.
• Proven experience in designing, building, and running systems in public Cloud.
• Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Experience in agile and quickly changing environment.
• Fluent in both English and Korean (verbal & written).
